Biography
Dr. Kenneth H. Eckhert III is a board-certified general surgeon at Surgical Associates of WNY with residency training and a fellowship in advanced laparoscopic and robotic surgery from Albany Medical Center. In Western New York, he has also served as a clinical assistant professor of surgery and was recognized by the University at Buffalo with a Siegel Award for volunteer teaching. A distinguishing part of his background is his leadership outside the operating room, including service as a past president of the Medical Society of the County of Erie and longtime volunteer work with Friends of Good Samaritan, a nonprofit that provides surgical care in Haiti.
