Biography
Dr. Alia Hasham is a gastroenterologist with academic training in Buffalo, where she completed gastroenterology fellowship training at the University at Buffalo and joined the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences as an assistant professor. Her background also includes internal medicine residency at Saint Barnabas Medical Center and postdoctoral work at Mount Sinai Medical Center, and UB has noted her research involvement in hepatitis C and fatty liver disease through its gastroenterology and hepatology programs.
