Alexander MacFarlane, MD is an orthopaedic surgeon with focused training in shoulder and elbow surgery. He earned his MD cum laude and completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at the University at Buffalo Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, followed by a shoulder and elbow fellowship at the Florida Orthopaedic Institute. During his UB training, he served as a 2023-2024 administrative chief resident and attended the department’s American Orthopaedic Association resident leadership forum.
