Biography
Tamas Szombathy, MD, is a Syracuse cardiologist and cardiac electrophysiologist with SUNY Upstate, where he is a Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine and is affiliated with Upstate University Hospital’s Electrophysiology and Pacing program. His training includes cardiology and clinical electrophysiology fellowships through St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center/Tufts, residency at the University of Rochester, and medical school at Semmelweis University; St. Joseph’s Health also lists him as board certified in cardiovascular disease and clinical cardiac electrophysiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
