Biography
Michael Parentis, MD, is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon with WNY Knee and Orthopedic Surgery. He earned his medical degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and completed orthopaedic surgery residency at Penn State’s Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, followed by fellowships in sports medicine at the Kerlan-Jobe Orthopedic Clinic in Los Angeles and foot and ankle surgery in Baltimore. He has also contributed to peer-reviewed orthopaedic research, including published work on shoulder labral injuries. A Yale graduate, he was also a standout lacrosse defenseman who twice received the program’s Christian Prince Memorial Award.
