Biography
Paul LaPoint, DO, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with Catholic Health in Western New York. A Buffalo-area native, he earned his D.O. at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, completed his orthopedic surgery residency there, and went on to a sports medicine fellowship at Temple University. He also serves as chairman of orthopedics for Sisters of Charity Hospital and has been recognized for longtime teaching and mentorship of residents and medical students, including receiving PCOM’s 2025 Alumni Association Certificate of Honor and a distinguished educator award.
