Biography
Thomas C. Mahl, MD, is chief of gastroenterology at ECMC and a professor at the University at Buffalo’s Jacobs School of Medicine, where he also directs the gastroenterology fellowship program. His background is centered in hepatology and academic medicine: he has been on the Jacobs School faculty since 1990, previously spent much of his career at the Buffalo VA Medical Center, and completed gastroenterology fellowship training at Yale-New Haven Hospital.
