Biography
Dr. James Aitken is an orthopedic surgeon with Trinity Medical in Western New York who earned his osteopathic medical degree from Kansas City University, completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, and went on to an adult reconstruction fellowship at Wake Forest Baptist. His background is especially centered on hip and knee reconstruction, including revision joint replacement and robotics-assisted knee replacement; while at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist, he also served as an assistant professor of orthopaedic surgery. He has also contributed to the orthopedic literature, including a 2022 publication on managing complex fractures and knee arthritis with modular total knee arthroplasty.
