Biography
Joseph G. Battaglia, MD, FACC, is a Syracuse cardiologist with Crouse Medical Practice who trained at SUNY Upstate Medical University for medical school, residency, and fellowship, and is board certified in cardiovascular disease, internal medicine, and interventional cardiology. At Crouse Health, he has served as Chief of Cardiology and Director of the Miron Cardiac Care Center, and was among the first Syracuse physicians to implant the Watchman device for atrial fibrillation patients.
