Biography
Dr. Alessandra Moore is an endocrine surgeon and University of Rochester Medical Center faculty member whose training included general surgery residency at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, a Stanford postdoctoral fellowship focused on scarless wound healing, and endocrine surgery fellowship training through the Harvard Combined Endocrine Surgery Fellowship at Brigham and Women’s and Massachusetts General Hospital. At Rochester, she holds joint faculty appointments in surgery and medicine, and her work also reflects an active research program; recent recognition includes a 2026 Society of Surgical Oncology Young Investigator Award for research on pheochromocytoma and paraganglioma metastases.
