Biography
Katie Konesky, MD, is a Buffalo-area surgeon with UBMD Surgery. She trained at the University at Buffalo, where she matched into general surgery and later completed a surgical critical care fellowship before joining the UBMD Surgery faculty. As a medical student, she was recognized with the Buffalo Surgical Society Prize in Surgery and the department’s Chair’s Award, and her academic work has included trauma-focused research, including a published study on traumatic cardiac arrest.
