Biography
Dr. Mariola Poss is a breast surgical oncologist at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center’s Care Network in Western New York and serves as an Assistant Professor of Oncology. She earned her MD from the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University at Buffalo, completed general surgery residency at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, and went on to fellowship training in breast surgical oncology at Roswell Park. A distinguishing part of her background is five years in general surgical practice in El Paso before returning to specialize in breast oncology; she has also contributed to the literature as a co-author of a 2024 review on desmoid fibromatosis of the breast.
