Biography
Dr. Balwant Nagra is a Buffalo psychiatrist who serves as an attending physician in ECMC’s Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program and an assistant professor of psychiatry at the University at Buffalo Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. He completed his child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at UB after psychiatry residency training at Thomas Jefferson University at Delaware Psychiatric Center, and he has also held leadership roles beyond ECMC, including being named associate chief of psychiatry at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. ECMC notes that he has been recognized for his work in psychiatric emergency care and for contributions to medical student education.
