Beth A Smith, MD

Dr. Beth A. Smith is a Buffalo child and adolescent psychiatrist and psychiatrist who trained at the University at Buffalo, where she also completed her psychiatry residency and child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship. She serves as chair of psychiatry at UB’s Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences and chief of behavioral health for Kaleida Health. An internationally recognized expert in cystic fibrosis mental health, Dr. Smith co-authored international guidelines on depression and anxiety in cystic fibrosis and has led major research and clinical efforts in that area.
