Biography
David M. Garrison, MD is a child and adolescent psychiatrist at UR Medicine and an Associate Professor of Clinical Psychiatry at the University of Rochester Medical Center. At URMC, he has served as Medical Director of Inpatient Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and of the child and adolescent mobile crisis team. Dr. Garrison earned his medical degree from the University of Colorado School of Medicine, then completed both his psychiatry residency and child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at the University of Rochester. His faculty work includes supervising psychiatry residents on the child and adolescent inpatient service, and his published work has focused on inpatient child and adolescent psychiatry and medical education.
