Biography
Gary J. Horwitz, MD, is a psychiatrist with UR Medicine in Pittsford and an Associate Professor of Clinical Psychiatry at the University of Rochester. He completed his neurology internship and psychiatry residency at the University of Rochester and is board certified in psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Dr. Horwitz also serves on the University of Rochester’s Geriatric Psychiatry Fellowship faculty, and his published work has included topics such as depression in older adults and antipsychotic withdrawal in nursing home residents with dementia.
