Biography
Dr. Lisa Slimmer is a psychiatrist and University of Rochester faculty member affiliated with Strong Memorial Hospital, where she serves as an associate professor of clinical psychiatry. She earned both her Ph.D. in physiology and her M.D. at the University of Rochester, completed her psychiatry training there, and served as chief resident in psychiatry. Her background also includes published work on depression and medical illness, as well as recognition for excellence in teaching medical students.
