Biography
Dr. Abrar H. Shah is a Rochester Regional Health cardiac electrophysiologist who is board certified in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine and earned his MD from SUNY at Brooklyn College of Medicine. He is part of the electrophysiology team leading Rochester Regional’s WATCHMAN program, which the health system describes as the first in the nation to offer same-day discharge for WATCHMAN patients. Shah has also co-authored peer-reviewed research on outcomes after WATCHMAN left atrial appendage closure in high-risk patients.
