Biography
Dr. Parag P. Patel is a UR Medicine cardiac electrophysiologist in Rochester and a professor of clinical medicine at the University of Rochester. He completed medical school at Penn State College of Medicine, followed by internal medicine residency, cardiovascular disease fellowship, and clinical cardiac electrophysiology fellowship at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. His work focuses on heart-rhythm care including pacemakers, implantable defibrillators, and catheter ablation, and he is board certified in clinical cardiac electrophysiology. In addition to clinical practice, he has published on atrial fibrillation and other rhythm disorders and co-authored a 2023 book chapter on implantable cardiac devices.
