Assaf Yosha, MD, is a family physician with UR Medicine at North Ponds Family Medicine & Maternity Care in Webster, New York. His clinical work spans primary care across the lifespan and includes maternity care, contraception, miscarriage management, and gender-affirming care. He also serves as an associate professor of clinical family medicine at the University of Rochester Medical Center.
Dr. Yosha earned his medical degree from Albany Medical College, completed family medicine training at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell, and went on to an obstetrics fellowship at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle. A University of Rochester department newsletter notes that he also spent time working in rural New Zealand and at Indian Health Service facilities, reflecting a longstanding interest in family planning and care for underserved communities.
