Biography
Dr. Lawrence I. Laifer is a cardiologist and attending physician at Bassett Medical Center. He earned his M.D. from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, completed an internal medicine residency at Bronx Municipal Hospital Center, and went on to fellowships in clinical research at Albert Einstein and in cardiology and interventional cardiology at Yale School of Medicine. Earlier in his career, he also co-authored research on fluorescence-guided laser angioplasty, reflecting a longstanding interest in cardiovascular innovation.
