Biography
Dr. Deepakraj Gajanana is an interventional cardiologist who trained at Bangalore Medical College, completed internal medicine residency at St. Luke’s Hospital in Bethlehem, and went on to fellowships in congestive heart failure, cardiovascular disease, and interventional cardiology at Albert Einstein Medical Center and MedStar Georgetown-Washington Hospital. His Cleveland Clinic profile also notes board certification in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology. He has contributed to peer-reviewed research in interventional cardiology, including publications on balloon aortic valvuloplasty and PCI in patients with prosthetic heart valves.
