He earned his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine with Alpha Omega Alpha honors, completed residency training at the University of Rochester’s Strong Memorial Hospital and Flaum Eye Institute, and previously worked in an HIV vaccine development laboratory at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.
