Alison Patricia Deem, M.D.

Dr. Alison Deem is a psychiatrist with more than 20 years of experience whose training included psychiatry at Dartmouth and additional specialization in forensic psychiatry at the University of Rochester. Her professional background includes community mental health, homeless services, and Veterans’ care, and she has contributed to research on forensic assertive community treatment, focused on improving outcomes for people with serious mental illness involved in the justice system. She also serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Washington, where her recent publications include work on medication optimization in complex psychiatric care.
