Biography
Laurence B. Guttmacher, MD, is a Rochester psychiatrist and Professor Emeritus of Psychiatry at UR Medicine. At the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry, he has also served as Associate Dean for Student Advising and Professor Emeritus in Health Humanities & Bioethics. A longtime educator, he is the former program director of the University of Rochester’s psychiatry residency and continues to contribute to resident teaching and supervision.
