Donald Switzer, MD, is a Western New York cardiologist and cardiac electrophysiologist whose training and board certifications include internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, and clinical cardiac electrophysiology, with medical school and early postgraduate training at the University at Buffalo and additional cardiovascular fellowship training at the University of Alabama Medical Center. A distinguishing part of his regional practice is his role in pediatric electrophysiology clinics with Pediatric Cardiology Associates of Western New York, and he has also contributed to published research on atrial fibrillation, including a study on intravenous magnesium and cardioversion.
