Biography
Dr. Syed Izhar Mustafa is a psychiatrist with UR Medicine in Rochester. He earned his medical degree from Dow Medical College in Karachi, completed psychiatry residency training at Parkland Memorial Hospital/University of Texas Health Science Center in Dallas, and went on to a psychiatry fellowship at Terrell State Hospital. A distinguishing part of his background is his academic role: he joined the University of Rochester Department of Psychiatry as a Professor of Clinical Psychiatry in 2017.
