Alana Curran, OD, is an Ithaca optometrist with Whole Picture Health & Vision. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the New England College of Optometry in 2019 after graduating cum laude from Union College in neuroscience and computer science. Her training included clinical-honors externships at Tufts Medical Center, the VA Outpatient Clinic in Lowell, community health settings, and specialty contact lens practices; she later taught first-year optometry students as a clinic instructor at the New England College of Optometry before joining Whole Picture.
