Biography
Dr. Alberto Monegro is an attending physician at Buffalo General Medical Center and program director for the University at Buffalo’s internal medicine residency. He earned his medical degree at SUNY Downstate, served as chief resident at Stamford Hospital in association with Columbia, and completed fellowship training in pulmonary and critical care medicine as well as sleep medicine at the University of Missouri. At UB, he also holds substantial teaching roles as a course director in pulmonary and critical care education, and his recent scholarly work has included sleep-related research.
