Biography
Jennifer S. Abeles, DO, is a Buffalo internist and pediatrician with UBMD Internal Medicine and a clinical assistant professor at the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. She completed her internship and combined internal medicine-pediatrics residency at the University at Buffalo after earning her DO from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, and she is board certified in both internal medicine and pediatrics. At UBMD, Abeles directs the Adult Sickle Cell Transitional Care Program, and she has also played a leading role in regional long-COVID work as principal investigator of the University at Buffalo’s long COVID registry.
