Christopher J. Karkut, MD, is a cardiovascular disease physician with ECU Health at the East Carolina Heart Institute. He earned his medical degree from the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University, completed residency at ECU Health Medical Center/Brody School of Medicine, and completed fellowship training at the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University at Buffalo. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and has also been part of ECU Health’s regional cardiology access work, providing in-person cardiology visits in Edenton alongside Greenville-based colleagues.
