Biography
Dr. Michael T. Guppenberger is a psychiatrist with ECMC in Buffalo, where he specializes in child and adolescent psychiatry and forensic psychiatry and has served as ECMC’s Director of Inpatient Psychiatry since 2023, after joining its inpatient psychiatry staff in 2009. He is also a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University at Buffalo, where he completed medical school, psychiatry residency, and child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship, and his UBMD profile notes recent recognition for medical student education and humanistic care.
