Richard Demme, MD

Richard A. Demme, MD, is a Rochester nephrologist and University of Rochester Medical Center faculty member whose work spans transplant nephrology, dialysis care, and medical ethics. He trained in internal medicine at Wilford Hall U.S. Air Force Medical Center and in nephrology at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston, and has held several URMC ethics leadership roles, including director of the Strong Memorial Hospital Clinical Ethics Consult Service and chair of the URMC Ethics Committee.
