He completed his internal medicine residency at Mercy Hospital/University at Buffalo and is board certified in both internal medicine and cardiovascular disease. He has also contributed to peer-reviewed cardiology research, including a Journal of the American College of Cardiology paper on exercise, beta-blockers, and cholesterol in patients with coronary heart disease.
