Biography
Prasadvarma Penmetsa, MBBS, is a Rochester gastroenterologist with American Board of Internal Medicine certification in gastroenterology. He trained at Rangaraya Medical College in India, completed internal medicine training at Park Ridge Hospital, and pursued gastroenterology fellowships at University Hospitals of Cleveland and the University of Rochester Medical Center. Before joining Rochester Gastroenterology Associates, he served for two years as attending gastroenterology faculty at URMC; his practice background includes advanced GI procedures such as ERCP and teaching involvement with Unity Health System’s medicine residency program.
