Scott Stewart, MD

Scott H. Stewart, MD, MS, is an associate professor of family medicine at the University at Buffalo and an addiction medicine physician with UBMD in Buffalo. His training includes medical school at Temple University, an internal medicine residency at the University of Pittsburgh, and a fellowship plus MS in clinical research at the Medical University of South Carolina. At UB and the DART program, he has served in leadership roles including medical director of an opioid treatment program, and his academic work has focused on alcohol-related disease, including NIH-supported research on screening, treatment, and biomarkers for unhealthy alcohol use.
