Biography
Dr. Jared Smith is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with Arnot Orthopedics, where he focuses on arthroscopic surgery and sports medicine. He earned his medical degree at SUNY Upstate Medical University, completed orthopedic surgery residency there, and went on to fellowship training in sports medicine at the Orthopaedic Research Institute of Virginia. At Arnot, he has also helped build the system’s robotic total knee program. Smith has contributed to orthopedic research as a co-author of a 2018 Journal of Hand Surgery study on forces across the distal radius during push-up and wrist motion.
