Biography
Dr. Kenneth Hood is a fellowship-trained, board-certified orthopaedic spine surgeon with Excelsior Orthopaedics. He earned his DO from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at Riverside University Health System Medical Center, and went on to spine surgery fellowship training at the University of California, San Diego. A Western New York native, he returned home to the Buffalo area in 2025 after roughly a decade practicing in Arizona, with a professional focus that includes minimally invasive and robotic spine procedures. He has also contributed to the spine literature, including a peer-reviewed review on scoliosis.
