Biography
Brigid O'Gorman, MD, is an internist with additional training in geriatrics who returned to her hometown to lead Eden Primary Care. She earned her medical degree at the University at Buffalo’s Jacobs School of Medicine and matched into the University of Rochester’s medicine-primary residency; after residency, she continued there for a geriatrics fellowship. During her Rochester training, she received Department of Medicine honors including the T. Franklin Williams Award and the Barbara Simms Primary Care Award. A distinctive part of her background is her deep local roots: she describes herself as a fourth-generation physician from a Western New York family with longstanding ties to both medicine and agriculture.
