Biography
Robert A. Ryan, O.D., is an optometrist with UR Medicine’s Flaum Eye Institute, where he serves as an Associate Professor of Clinical Ophthalmology. His work has focused on contact lenses and anterior segment care, including peer-reviewed publications, FDA clinical investigation for contact lens manufacturers, and resident teaching through the University of Rochester. Ryan co-founded Visionary Eye Associates, a Rochester-area practice acquired by Flaum Eye Institute in 2016, and earned his O.D. from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry.
