Biography
James J. Reidy, MD, FACS, is an ophthalmologist with a focus on cornea and external eye disease. He is the Adelaide M. Seeberger Professor of Ophthalmology and Visual Science at the University of Chicago, where he also serves as medical director of the Ophthalmology Outpatient Center and vice chair for clinical operations. His training includes an ophthalmology residency at Michael Reese Medical Center and a cornea and external disease fellowship at Louisiana State University Medical Center; earlier in his career, he practiced and taught in Buffalo, including work with the Ross Eye Institute and a University at Buffalo-sponsored keratoconus corneal cross-linking study.
