Matthew J. Zinno, D.O., MBA, MPH, is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon with Excelsior Orthopaedics. He completed an orthopaedic sports medicine fellowship at the University at Buffalo after orthopedic surgery training at Garden City Hospital/Michigan State University Statewide Campus System, and his background also includes degrees in mechanical engineering from Notre Dame, business from Drake, and public health from Des Moines University. In addition to treating shoulder and knee sports injuries and joint replacement patients, he has co-authored peer-reviewed research on bone microstructure and biomechanics.
