Janet Corson-Rikert, M.D.

Janet Corson-Rikert, M.D., is a physician and longtime campus health leader in Ithaca. She joined Cornell University Health Services as a staff physician in 1992 and later served as director, associate vice president for campus health, and executive director of Gannett Health Services; Cornell credited her with helping move campus care toward a more integrated model of medical, mental health, prevention, and public health services. A Cornell Chronicle profile notes that she trained at Harvard Medical School, completed pediatrics residency and chief residency at the University of Wisconsin Hospital, and pursued adolescent medicine fellowship training at Children’s Hospital Medical Center at Harvard Medical School.
