Biography
Dr. Shaan E. Alam is a board-certified general surgeon at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center whose practice includes minimally invasive laparoscopic and robotic surgery. Before joining Memorial, he worked at Cleveland Clinic Weston and also held surgical posts at AdventHealth Lake Wales and HCA West Marion Hospital. Dr. Alam earned his medical degree from Delhi University College of Medical Sciences and completed surgical residency training at Maimonides Medical Center, The Brooklyn Hospital Center, and San Joaquin General Hospital. He has also contributed to the surgical literature, including peer-reviewed research on laparoscopic colon surgery.
