Biography
Dr. Eleanor Fung is a gastrointestinal surgeon and endoscopist at ECMC and a clinical assistant professor of surgery at the University at Buffalo. She earned her MD and completed general surgery residency training at the University of Toronto, followed by fellowship training in advanced gastrointestinal surgery and flexible endoscopy at Ohio State. A distinguishing part of her academic work is serving as program director of UB’s Comprehensive Flexible Endoscopy Fellowship; her profile also notes peer-reviewed publications and ongoing research in endoscopic and gastrointestinal surgery.
