Biography
Robert Ungerer, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon with long-standing ties to Jamestown and Western New York. A 1970 graduate of the Jacobs School of Medicine at the University at Buffalo, he served as a Navy orthopedic surgeon in Yokosuka, Japan before building a decades-long practice in Jamestown. Beyond clinical work, he has also been active in local health-care leadership, including nine years on the WCA Foundation board and service on the foundation’s grants committee supporting UPMC Chautauqua.
