Biography
Carina Alfaro-Franco, MD, FACC, is a Hamilton, New York cardiologist with fellowship training in cardiovascular disease at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and internal medicine residency training at Baylor College of Medicine. She previously joined the University at Buffalo faculty as a clinical assistant professor in cardiology after practicing with Kaleida Health, and her published work includes research on atrial fibrillation detection after cryptogenic stroke in JACC: Advances.
