Dr. Kushani Gajjar is a cardiologist with UR Medicine in Rochester whose practice is centered on advanced heart failure and heart transplant care. She is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in cardiology and also serves on the University of Rochester’s Advanced Heart Failure and Transplantation Fellowship faculty. Her training included internal medicine at the University of Connecticut, cardiology fellowship at Allegheny General Hospital, where she was chief fellow, and advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology fellowship at Mayo Clinic; her academic interests include using cardiac imaging to better understand advanced heart disease and improving education for patients and trainees.
