Doran S. Mix, MD, is a University of Rochester vascular surgeon and associate professor with board certification from the American Board of Surgery. He earned his MD and completed vascular surgery residency at Rochester, later adding endovascular training at Mayo Clinic; his work includes leadership of UR Medicine’s Cardiovascular Engineering Lab and the division’s research program, with a focus on patient-specific aortic aneurysm repair, vascular ultrasound, and 3D-printing approaches to aortic disease.
