Biography
Raman Sood, MD, is a Dunkirk-based medical oncologist affiliated with Lake Erie Medical Services and Brooks-TLC Hospital System. He earned his MD in internal medicine from the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research in India, completed internal medicine residency training at SUNY Stony Brook's Nassau County Medical Center, and went on to a medical oncology fellowship at Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo; Brooks-TLC notes that he is board certified in medical oncology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. In addition to his longstanding oncology practice in Chautauqua County, he was the author of a 2024 letter in The New England Journal of Medicine on hospital pricing for physician-administered drugs.
